3D Design and Modelling
CT Projects have extensive experience in producing designs and modelling components in 3D. Our 'in-house' CAD
system is Mechanical Desktop and Inventor, but we also use other systems at our clients offices such as Catia 4 and 5, Unigraphics, Solidworks, Anvil etc.
The 3D parametric modelling environment for mechanical design is our prefered CAD environment even when the final requirement is for 2D detail drawings. Although it may take a little longer
constructing the initial model, producing the orthographic views from this model is very quick. Modifying the drawing later on will reap the benefit of this method of working - change the model and all the
associated views will update to reflect the change.
